TB-500
TB-500 (Thymosin β-4 active fragment)
TB-500 is the synthetic N-acetylated active fragment of thymosin β-4, corresponding to the actin-binding domain of the parent 43-residue protein. It is used in cell-migration, actin-polymerisation and angiogenesis research. Check the batch COA — material sold under this name may be either the 7-residue fragment or full-length thymosin β-4, and the two differ substantially in molecular weight.
Supplied as: White to off-white lyophilised powder in a sealed, batch-labelled vial. ≥99% by RP-HPLC with diode-array detection; identity confirmed by mass spectrometry.
Research use only. This material is supplied for laboratory research purposes. Not for human or veterinary consumption, not a medicine, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic use.

Handling & reconstitution
Allow the material to reach room temperature before opening. Lyophilised material must be reconstituted with an appropriate sterile diluent — run the diluent slowly down the inside wall and swirl gently to dissolve; do not shake or vortex, as peptides are shear-sensitive. Pre-made solution requires no reconstitution. Keep opened or reconstituted material refrigerated and use within the working window established for your assay.
Handling, reconstitution and disposal are the recipient's responsibility and must follow your own laboratory protocols. Reconstitution calculator.
